Ryan Frazier on President's Address

January 27, 2010 Wheat Ridge, CO - In response to President Obama’s State of the Union address tonight, Ryan Frazier, candidate for U.S. Congress, issued the following statement:

“While President Obama certainly laid forth constructive ideas on moving our nation forward, I fear his words are more of the same rhetoric offering promises that again will be broken tomorrow. Last year he promised that unemployment wouldn’t exceed 8.5% if Congress passed a $760 billion ‘stimulus’ bill. Nearly a year later, we have been strapped with an unprecedented $1.35 trillion debt, and have been burdened with many broken promises. Today 3.3 million more Americans are out of work than last year at this time, with an unemployment rate reaching 10%. We don’t need more of the same rhetoric; we need new leadership in Congress to dissolve one-party rule, and restore checks and balances to our federal government.”
