Ryan Frazier Builds Momentum in Race for Colorado’s 7th Congressional District - Over $400,000 Raised To Date

Wheat Ridge, CO - As Ed Perlmutter raises campaign cash from special interests groups outside the state and continues to amass a voting record that does not reflect his district’s values, congressional candidate Ryan Frazier is having success by remembering the old axiom: all politics are local.

By focusing on the needs of the people of Colorado and working hard, Ryan Frazier has built up an impressive war chest. His 4th quarter fundraising numbers show that Frazier raised over $215,000 and that over 90% of the funds came from Coloradans.

“As I meet with people throughout the district, regardless of their party affiliation, they are telling me that the leadership in Washington is frustrating them and they want someone who will listen and lead accordingly,” Frazier said. “I’m honored to have their support and investment in our campaign.”

Given that Democrats all over the country, and especially in the West, are facing an unfavorable election year, Ed Perlmutter may be in for the race of his political career.

U.S. House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) agrees and is supporting Ryan Frazier.

“Ryan Frazier would make a thoughtful and independent addition to Colorado's congressional delegation in Congress. His military service, small business background, common sense fiscal conservatism and record advocating for real education reforms are needed in Congress,” said Cantor. “I know he will bring new ideas, energy and a determination to get results for his Constituents. With regards to his campaign, I am impressed with his strong level of grassroots support; it seems people are really responding to Ryan's people-powered campaign."

To date Frazier has raised over $400,000 and has over $275,000 cash-on-hand. The National Republican Congressional Committee has recently named Frazier as 'On the Radar' of their Young Guns program, a distinction earned by top tier candidates.
